The study explored representative participation and institutional stability of selected Public Universities in Southwest, Nigeria. A descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. The population of the study comprised the selected public Universities staff in southwest, Nigeria. A total of 393 structured questionnaires were administered to elicit information from the target respondents. Data gathered were analyzed using multiple regression models. The result showed that representative participation significantly affects institutional stability as it was significant on institutional stability (t=0.475, t=6.199, t=2.607 and t=2.019, p<0.05) Thus, in conclusion, it was shown that all the constructs of the explanatory variable were significantly and positively related to institutional stability among selected public universities in Southwest Nigeria.

The belief and addiction of students in tertiary institutions to drugs and substance usage to motivating themselves to perform better in their academics and their day-to-day activities cannot be overemphasized, this in turns has become a thing of concerned not to schools' management alone but also to parents, community's leaders and the governments of the day globally. Hence the need for this research "modelling of level and effect of drugs and substance abuse on students' academic performance. Data were collected from both public and private tertiary institutions........

Composting Is one example of aerobic and anaerobic waste treatment. The composting process generally takes place in several stages that canbe recognized from changes in temperature by microorganisms that degrade organic matter. Degradation of organic matter in compost at PT Great Giant Pineapple can be done with the help of thermophilic bacteria. Thermophilic bacteria have the ability to survive and adapt to extreme temperatures to produce an enzyme in the form of extracellular enzymes. The results showed that there were 4 isolates that had different morphological characteristics......

Indonesia is one of the world's leading agrarian countries, boasting a vast and fertile agricultural sector. This significantly impacts the structure of the national economy. As the temperature rises, mesophilic microorganisms become less competitive and are replaced by thermophilic ones. The thermophilic phase is an important stage in composting. In this phase, there is an increase in decomposition or the initial formation of humus. This study aims to isolate and characterize thermophilic fungi in the compost base during the pre-decomposition phase at PT. Great Giant Pineapple........

This study demonstrates that rice husk as a sustainable, cost-effective source of biosilica, promoting waste reduction and materials sustainability. Biosilica nano-particles were extracted using a simple and environmentally-friendly method, characterized through FTIR and SEM analysis to determine the key chemicals and the morphology respectively and to show antifungal properties against five different fungal species. The results reveal the presence of silanol and siloxane groups. According to the SEM image analysis, the produce has irregular shape and rigid surface which contributed to the Si-O-Si frame work. Antifungal assay exhibited that biosilica inherent antifungal property makes it potential antifungal agent.
